“I don’t sing because I’m happy; I’m happy because I sing.” ~ William James
Right now, we all need more happiness! Amazing Singing can help you get singing & happy this season.
WHO WE ARE
Amazing Singing rehearses in Kamloops, Salmon Arm, and Vernon. We sing a Cappella pop music by artists like The Beatles, Coldplay, Queen, Fleetwood Mac, Pink Floyd, and many more. We work on 4, 6, 8, and even 12 part harmony. We rehearse in each city from Sept to May, and all three groups combine for our massive end of year performances. 🙂
Looking to connect with new friends, try something new, uplift your mind, body, & spirit? Any singing skill level is welcome. Included on the website are music scores and audio practice tracks for each part. All you have to do is download your vocal parts and sheet music, practice with the tracks, and join us for rehearsals! You don’t even need to read music. We have a concert at the end of the year which is lots of fun – and we do some holiday songs in December, too.
Our format is fun, social, and instructive. You’ll learn harmony, train your ear, improve your musical skills, and learn healthy vocal techniques with a great coach.
Here’s samples of our practice tracks (all-parts versions) of the kinds of songs we do!

Singing is amazing. It improves physical, mental, emotional, and social health! When we sing, the body is our instrument and as singers we connect with deep breathing from the belly. Singing is a relaxing body workout that reduces tension. It can also boost your immune system!
Emotionally and mentally, singing makes you feel good. Singing lowers cortisol (the stress hormone) in the brain, while it releases endorphins, those happy little brain chemicals. 🙂 Some people use singing as a way to meditate and lose themselves entirely in the moment, which can boost mood and reduce anxiety.
Don’t take our word for it: here’s a medically reviewed article from Healthline.com
Singing in a choir connects us with others. Working together as a group creates a sense of belonging and connection. Our choir community is a safe space, over 100 members strong.
